The varieties include Grenache, Grenache Noir, and Syrah. This vineyard produces the grapes that won the State of California award for the best Syrah wine in 2001. Both the Grenache and Syrah grapes produce excellent wines that are bottled and marketed locally as well as nationally. The vineyard is irrigated/frost protected with an extensive system of riparian and appropriated water rights.
